HI/LO can you see the light??

      remember in the 70's & 80's when the trucks had 4 round headlights? i remember we used to take out the high beam light & replace it with a 150 watt 6" driving light. all i had to do was make up a couple of short jumper wires. man wasn't it bright.
      what i'm saying is you should still be able to get the pots that take the replacement bulbs. all you do is get the hi/lo bulbs
80/100 watts. wire in a dimmer switch & your done!!!!!

i think i may have jumped the gun, a little. apperantly you can't get the pots with the bulb anymore. but you can still buy the hi/lo sealed beam for them. that is the 4 lamp system. maybe that bulb would fit into you old pot . you may have to bend the ears back on the light a little to make fit depending on you old pots. if this works, you have high & low beam lights in your original pots. a piece of black 3 wire extension cord should work well for wiring.
