Houlio's smart test

<< < (2/2)

the old trucker:
Houlio I just corrected your test paper. I must say I was very impressed with your answers. Score was based on 10 points per question with the full 10 points been awarded only if I felt the question was answered 100% to the best of your ability.
However I found a couple of items which caused me not to give you a perfect score.
In question # 2 you said the two rear panels plus the front panel were replaced. You did not mention 1 very vital bit of information which is very crucial to this exam. The difficulty in removing the old panels plus the size(thickness) of the replacement pieces that were used.
Overall I can't see any reason why you should lose any more points. Your answers were very correct & to the point.
Therefore I see no reason why you should not receive a score of 99%. Giving you an "A".  The top rating is "A plus".
The closest class member was Grfishmaker who scored a very discouraging 51 %. It's a pass for him but he still needs a fair bit of schooling yet! Eventually he will learn also.
Congratulations to you my son & to your father for keeping you on the straight & narrow!!!

the old trucker:
Houlio, your restore or partial rebuild is the only job done to a woodie that I have seen aside from a couple of Cameron's pics.
It's too bad that others who are or have done repairs to their woodies have not taken any pictures of it. I sure hope Grfishmaker takes a few pics when he goes at his woodie this fall.

kpm:
...having had both..metal and wood....old trucker...i'd strongly have to disagree...though the wooden are a little lighter, and don't get me wrong.I liked the one I had...the metal machines are by my opinion..better.

the old trucker:
It's great to know how you feel about these machines. I like the metal one too. I think they are great. But if I had a choice, I would have the woodie.
I would like to see more stories and pictures about things that people have done to improve their bombers. It's all a learning experience for everyone. We all benefit.
Just look at what Swamp Dwag and Houlio have done for us.
