My bombardier video is finally on you tube!

  Swamp Dwag, what happened I thought it would be at least 30 - 40 min. long!!! Only joking my man. Only thing I found wrong was that I wasn't there. I noticed when you were maneuvering through the trails, it seemed like you had to watch the turns as she wanted to go straight.
  Is there any way some sort of steer brake could be used on the tracks to aid in steering ? I'm just thinking out loud.
What are your plans for this winter with the ol' bomber ?

Steering isn't really that bad, even without power steering.  I had thought of steering brakes but it gets a little complicated.  You would have to have 2 outboard brake calipers outside of the belly tub and between the sprockets to brake each side individually.  This might be ok if you stick to hard pack trails, but if you get into deep powder or slush those brake will be in the harshest area of the machine, so we were worried about reliability, and not breaking brake lines or freezing up or having willows stuck in there. 

Ya you tube only allows 10min movies so I had to cut some off.

Plans for this winter are more body work, paint, interior upholstery on the walls and ceiling, rebuild escape hatch.

Settle down OT , something happened from when I saved the video to uploading to you tube, it lost 7mins worth of video.  So I'm uploading the full 10min version right now, might take a few hours. Then the link will be re posted.  Thanks for telling me it was short OT, or else I wouldn't have noticed.

   Well, Well, Well !!! Someone pinch me & see if I'm still alive!!! Mister man that was absolutely beautiful. Especially when I saw Cam pull up in his bomber. It's wonderful to be able to put the face with the name!
   I see that Jesse must be wearing a size 15 boot, the way he went by. Only joking Jess!! I sure would like to be up around Cam's place for awhile. Like all woodies, I'm sure his is something to behold!!! Well Dwag, you've done, you finaly did it. You got me stuck for words. I gotta go & look some more @ the video.

  Well sir if the rest of you fellers are like Cam, I think I'd fit right in. He certainly seems like one happy guy. Then again who wouldn't be, owning something as beautiful as what he was sitting in!!!
  I'm definatly looking forward to see more videos like this from your neck of the woods & from Charles( Bombardier on NT.) & the rest of the boys from Quebec.

I put in key search words like "bombardier, snow bus, b-12, cranberry portage etc", so if you put a couple of those in you should be able to find it.

   Dwag, in the last 15 sec. was that Cam running along on your left side ? Also the big clearings that you drove over, was that a lake or fields ? Was there much ice up your way ?

Yes that was Cam cruising along, and we were going across lakes.  There was probably about 24" of ice, since it was in March.

  Dwag if my friend gets his bomber straightened out this winter, I'll see if I can get a few pics of her playing in the snow!!! You & Houlio have certainly made my day. I hope there is more this winter. I think it would add a lot if you got a few shots of the machines inside & outside also!! Congratulations to both of you.
