Wow you guys run quite a fleet of Bombardier's.  How many in total?  Sounds like they have the 318 V-8.

We have 12 Bombardiers, all R-series 1955-1975.

Good guess, I think you're right, but I'm not 100% sure.
Since 2005 we have changed 5 engines, GM/Edelbrock 310HP.

The new engines are Edelbrock Performer 310 engines. 310hp 350cid. We've installed chrome moly pushrods and ARP rocker arms to solve some valvetrain issueses and we've installed oil coolers to solve cooling issuses. Other than that they work fine. The power is transfered through a TH350 3-speed manual and a Dana 44 or 60. I think it's 44 that is installed in the snowmobiles.
