ANYWAY HERE'S MIKE'S 57 UPDATE

   I was down to Paul's & Mike's yesterday to check on they're progress. He is not painting around the engine bay area. He has a couple of sheets of polished aluminum safety plate to cover it up. ( Just like the crow... he likes everything "SHINY" )

    I must say she's starting to look good.

the old trucker:

   Mike was hoping to get his bomber in his garage last month & start at it again, but things got busy for him. He is planning to start again by month's end. He has the engine ready to go in, then I think he will go at the interior. I think the motor doors are next. There is a fellow here that says he can make louvered doors. We will see what happens.

  Well he finally got her in the garage last weekend. I was down today to check on his progress. Here are a couple of pics of his latest. He put the engine in today & almost got everything hooked up again.

  You can see that he has the shiny checkered aluminum plate all around the engine. He's like the crow.... likes everything shiny.

  He bought an old truck box just so he could get these 6 stainless steel hinges for his bomber doors. While sizing it up, he come to discover that his machine fit inside just right. Now she has her own summer home.
