Mike's 57 Rebuild

<< < (6/10) > >>

the old trucker:

   HERE'S AN UPDATE OF MIKE'S 57 REBUILD

She breathes again. After a couple of hrs. of rewiring & head scratching she fired up at the turn of the key. After awhile running he had a couple of leaks that required a simple turn of the screwdriver to fix.
When he half covers the carb with his hand she smoothes out pretty good. He thinks with a few adjustments at the carb & timing she will purrr like a kitten.

In the pic below he has the wiring roughed in to get her running again. Mike will clean all this up with a bit of wire loom & clamps...

grfishmaker:
She's looking great there Mike. Nice job in the motor cubby, looks good with the checker plating. The only suggestion that I would have is to keep the garage door locked to keep Claude out. lol

the old trucker:

What's all this about ?? Listen here Mr. Grfishmaker.... I can see I'm gonna have to come up your way & straighten things out. And besides Mike still needs me to bring him his TIMMIES "N" DONUTS for awhile yet.
                                                                                                  Mr. OT. to you.

dpaulson:
Hey that sounds like a good TV show.  There used to be the 'A-team' with Mr. T, now we have the 'B-Team (for bombardier) with Mr. OT.  You gonna get a different hair cut?

the old trucker:

    WHAT HAIR ??? ??? ??? I make Kojak look like a hippie....
