Mike's 57 Rebuild
the old trucker:
My little buddy Mike has bought his bomber in the garage for the winter months. He was calling every 2 - 3 days & gab for an hr. or so. I guess he'll be calling everyday now, when are you coming down ??? Don't forget my TIMMIES "N" DOUNUTS on your way...He better have broad shoulders. Ha Ha ;D 8)

the old trucker:
I see Mike is making progress with his bomber. With the kids growing up, getting a winters wood cut, hauled & packed away & working steady, it don't leave much time to pick at it. He has a new skin on the drivers door & test fitted the International bunk sliding window for fit. He has all the window openings primed & painted, windshield installed. The round windows will have to be all cut new, due to different rubber size. When the passenger door is done it will all be disassembled, primed & painted. Here are a couple of pics of his progress to date.

FORD F-150:
are those florescent lights for your dome lights? pretty cool idea to have lights like that lol
FORD F-150
the old trucker:
F 150 if it were 12 volt fluorescent, they would be really bright, but it's an old light he had kicking around & used it for when he works on the inside.
FORD F-150:
yea i seen the cord coming in through the window hole, just a thought if there were a 12V florescent like that would be really nice to have in a bomber especially when your trying to look for something small you've dropped in the back and the regular dome light wont help
just a thought lol
