He's waiting on new motor door skins from Shavers. Next is the wood oak stiffner. What came off it was 1"x2" oak, so he'll replace it with the same. But wasn't the strips made from 2x2 stock ?? I think he'll be getting new door handles also. There's a fellow around that does pinstriping by hand, so maybe he may get lucky...

Here's a couple new pics of his bomber. He bought all new handles for the doors. When his motor door skins arrive, that should be most of the outside work done I think. He also has "NEW" old school headlight pots ordered..

That's a sharp looking machine !!! It needs a pic or two taken outside to do it justice. Mike showed me how the hinges on the doors worked out pretty good, especialy on his cargo door. The hinges are offset I think allowing the wood strip to be a little longer.
