Swamp Dawg... remember a while back when I was asking about rims & you asked me if I had a project on the go. Well maybe this will be it. Gotta wait for the snow to go some more.

Remember when you talked about this Swamp Dwag ?? Some people said I was all guts to take on my rebuild. Well..... there's someone braver than me out there. Dpaulson.... sharpen up your pencil... you may be able to retire if you can get enough steel to fill the order that this fellow needs. And yes he is determined to see it through...too. He got it mostly for the suspension, a template, & drive line. Here are a few pics of his find. He's a mechanic & his brother has Mig, tig, aluminum welders & a flow jet or CNC I think he called it. Plus he has more contacts than the Pope has...  It's a 1959 model.

Ain't it amazing what salt water will do to metal. A lot of residents up around where she came from used to have "STEEL" doors in their houses at one time. Here she is ready to go in the snow.
One hundred ft. in front of her is salt water.

OT - Are you sure you newfies aren't using these machines for submarines? Wow, I've never seen a body rust away like that. Over the past year or so, I've noticed that alot of the machines that you have posted have rust problems. I remember wondering if it was from the coastal air. So from now on I will play it safe with my machine and stay this side of the Ontario border.

We're known to be rough & tough down here. That is how we survive. There's one machine that hauls three cord of fire wood at a time. He has done it with the same bomber for the last 15 years. We give everything a good workout here.
