universal Joint Assembly
« on: January 26, 2009, 01:25:39 am »
Was wondering if anyone had the part number. Gave my spare to a fellow and he needs a no. so he can replace it. It had 28153x on it but I can't seem to cross reference it to a spicer or other supplier.

Cranman I called my local parts store man & gave him that #28153x. He matched it up to a Precision # 369. He says it belongs to a 1970's GM vehicle. Another store has a NEAPCO brand joint. These are supposed to be good. The # is 1-0153. Hope this helps somewhat.

Cranman, do you have a wide gauge machine ?  I'm wondering if the differental from a full size pickup would fit in without any serious modifications to it.

It's been done quite a bit to make parts available
modify the sprockets and get it mounted in there
oh ya don't forget to turn it over
