Bombardiers in Ontario

Hey all,
I am near Peterborough Ontario , and wonder If there are others near that might like to get together for a ride? The anual run in Man , is to far for me to travel but looks like fun!
Our local Snowmobile club would be suportive if there are others.
Thoughts?

Come to Valcourt on Feb. 12-13 I am going there with the b-12 and Charles Bouchard is going to be there with his. Show and ride right from the museum.

Oldsledz I see you got Charles to go to the festival with you. I'm happy for you. When I talked with him on the phone he sounded easy going & dedicated to the bombers. 48 bomber I think you'd have a good time there. Probably pick up some stuff at the swap meet.

Hey all,
Does sound like fun. Its to far for me to hall the bomber ,as my truck is a dakota. I have moved it around here and know it would kill my truck! I may be interested in driving there to see the rally. It has been 15 years from the last visit to the museum. Its about 5.5hour drive from here.

48 Bomber,
You should go. I know there will not be many big machines there, but there will be allot of other old snomobiles. I am about 125 miles away but it is a goat path from Maine to the Canadian border so it will take me about 4 hours with a 30' trailer to get there.

hey all,
What is takes place over the 2 days? Is there information on the event?
Can you take a tour of the plant where they build the sleds? The last time I was there the OFSC arranged this , and it was great time seeing how ski-doo's are made.

google the Valcourt Grand Prix. I think there are tours on the Friday 12th. I am staying at a Bed and Breadfast and the lady that runs it works at the museum and I am pretty sure that the tour is Friday. May need some adavance notice.
