48 bomber I was downtown to a larger building supply store inquiring about the availabity of #1 G2S 1/4" birch. Only way I can get is by the lift, same as Orin's problem.
Do you know of any suppliers around that can sell by the sheet ??                               OT.

OT,
Go to a local cabinetmaker and ask  about the ply. They will have a supplier for wholsale ply for what they do. I know here that my suppliers can get , and carry spiecies and quality that is not at the local lumber yard.  I do not buy sheets by the lift, only order what i need and is nerver a issue.

48bomber, I viewed your pics with interest.  I am working on '48 B12 for a friend.  Nothing heavy yet, mainly fuel delivery-rust in tank, and small wiring issues.  Although I have not finished examining the entire machine, it looks very original and sound.  It looks very much like yours and at first glance they could be mistaken for one another.  I have no experience with BIG BOMBERS but am learning through this forum.  I do have some info on Chrysler flatheads from old MOTORS manual and 1945 US Army manual on the 236.6.  This motor says T120 IND and might be 251.
Thanks for the input to this forum.  BIGDAVE

You are right about The Old Trucker analyzing the pictures. He has been know to go through the familys Christmas photos and pick out which of them has any missing buttons on their cloths or which one is developing cavities in their teeth. No wonder he is the team leader of CSI Newfoundland.
