Plywood and stain questions

We want to replace the skin on the front of our unit. Does anyone know what plywood and stains are used? It looks like teak stain or walnut stain cut by 50%. In addition, we are assuming nothing special like steam or hot water is needed to bend the front curves. Does anyone know differently.

Hey Vic,
Look at reply #5 under Houlio's Pictures to see the stain we used. As for the plywood, we didn't steam it or use hot water, just TLC and kept the screws close together.
