the old trucker:
Betcha that color is going to "pop" out like a sore thumb when cleaned up. Definitely needs shades for this one. 8) 8) 8)
the old trucker:
I was thinking a couple of days ago about Jeff's rebuild & how he was getting on... Well here is his latest update...

sav_x69:
are the sliding door windows factory or are they available from somewhere? I am looking for a set for my 61.
the old trucker:
I checked on the internet & found a place down south in California that said they can make. Only problem is they told me they were $750.00.... EACH !!!!! Kinda rich for my blood. When I get my camera batteries recharged, I'll snap a couple of pics of something that might just work. Mike's 57 Rebuild first thought of the idea & it looks pretty good.
Of course it's from a truck.... What did you expect from a bunch of ol' truckers ;D 8)
OT.
the old trucker:
Here is the window I am talking about. It's a little wider so he had it cut & he says it's good to go. It is a little lower than the other one also & it slides. Don't worry OT's got his eye out for this one. The other side was busted up. The driver was OK. OT.
