Sounds like a good idea if you live in a high snowfall area. I noticed in the DVD that Bombardier gave me you see the machines with the sliders on, going through snow up above the top of the tracks.

Marcdds I sent you a message to you through the PM site on here. I hope you can help. Thanks. If you need my email, It's on here in the members column.

Here's a different one again.... from Que.

Note the slider apparatus on the 2 center wheels on the green one in these 3 pics. Google in autoneige.ca & it's the first one. Click on it & a red bombardier crest pops up. There's a spot there you click on for pics.  Then click on the blue bomber. Of course there are a few spots there that are interesting. Maybe some can highlight it for me.

Marc this place looks like Amqui, Que. I passed by that parking lot every time I went up the Matapedia. Can you correct me if I am wrong??

No problem my friend. At least you got it highlighted so a fellow could click on it. I get a screwed up trying to do it.

Rattleman I have a video that Charles Bouchard (bombardier) sent to me about the sliders. It's amazing how much deep snow they can go through. Do you have any pics of your machines that we can have a look at ?? We would like to see them.

Dave I think I have a pic of the other side of that bomber. I saw it 2 years ago, when I was surfing the net. They said it was working with Yellowstone National Park at the time. I like the "fenders" above the sprockets.
