OLDSLEDZ B-7... HERE ON NT.

<< < (2/7) > >>

oldsledz:
Actually I was thinking about taking the engine to the So. Cal. hot rod speed shop,  building it up, put 3 2 barrel Stromberg carbs on it and try it at the Bonneville Salt Flats!!

But seriously,  I was at St. Raymond last winter for their annual meet and there was a B7 there that I could not keep up with it the 90 Km ride with my B-12.  It seemed to move right along.  I don't know which is better,  a 3400 lb B-12 with 115 hp or a 2500 lb B-7 with 85 hp.  Any engineers here in the group?

the old trucker:

Here is an update from Oldsledz on his B7.

Claude. Thought I would send a few pics of the B-7. The website has been a little slow lately. Hope to take the rig all apart this spring and summer and then I should have allot of pics for you. Regards. Frank

the old trucker:

Oldsledz by the looks of it you had her on the snow for a run. How do she handle ?  OT.

oldsledz:
It seems as quick as the B-12,  but does not ride as nice.

the old trucker:

How is the suspension set up, same as the B12 ?? From what I can see it looks a bit different.
