dpaulson:
Anyone have a place in Sask. or Man. that a new rad for a narrow door bombardier can be purchased?
MRT:
if you have the upper and lower tanks you can get a new core for around $500
dpaulson:
Ya, I could probably get it rebuilt, but I don't know if I want to spend that much on 60 yr old tanks. I'll going to spend a bit of time to see if I can get new, but as a last resort get rebuilt what I have
kpm:

I have an original rad for my bomber. When I measured it up it's 3"-thick x 20"-wide x 20.5" -high = 1230 cu. in"
I have a power wagon rad which measures 3" thick x 21.25" wide x 18.5" high = 1193.25 cu. in". I can use this one if I need to. Just trim down the mounting brackets on the sides. Isn't there an industrial rad that was used on those big stationary welders that had 6 cores in them. It might be cheaper for Dave to check that route.
One lazy OT that needs a boot in the back door...come on......
