the old trucker:
HERE ARE A COUPLE OF PICS OF DIFFERENT SLIDER SETUPS THAT RATTLEMAN SENT FOR POSTING. THIS BIT OF INFO GOES WITH THE PICS.
Hi Claude
For the slidders there's mores explications
First picture= there's the oldest system; we founded theses slidders on a b-12 near Sept-Isles.There,s was made in the fifte (1951+-). Ther's replacing 3 wheels, and they are almost the best on deep snow. But they are mores stiffs and noisy.
Second picture= Thoses models ares the revamp of the first slidder model. There's as good in snow , but less noisy.
Thirt picture = Thoses models ares replacing 2 wheels. There's a bit less good in snow (about 20%); but this model is the most silent model and the best suspension ..... mayby the best of the two worlds.
Now you know as mutch than me on slidders......

We'll call it; Roger's Ice Hut
Here is part of the email he sent to me.
This ice shack was rogers project for the best part of a year.
It is built from two double track 640 Skidoo's welded together for the base,
and the top is all welded aluminum frame and riveted…
