english - french translation

(1/2) > >>

dpaulson:
Is there anyone here that can help me with communicating with a french speaking guy from quebec.  He has a nice 4-53 Detroit engine for sale that i need for my Clark wheel loader.  I've tried using bablefish to translate, but I don't think it is translating making much sence.

Thanks

the old trucker:

Dave maybe send a PM. to one of our members from Quebec.  OT.

dpaulson:
Tried that already OT, no reponse either.

the old trucker:

Davey... I called our local library & told him of the problem you are encountering. After telling him you tried bablefish he told me to go to google page & right above google you'll see the black bar that is accross the screen with search, maps, doucments, & at the end it says MORE. Click on it. Click on translate. See the box ?? Type in your message, right on top of that box you change the
From: Detect; language,   To whatever language you want & hit TRANSLATE. Then this should show your message in french. Copy & paste to your email & send. He also said to include a note saying that you are using a translator thingy. When you get a message back just put it in this & translate back... Hope this helps. A man as smart as you will get er' done....
