what do everybody do when painting thier machine? especialy on a new restore job. just sand off the rough and rust and put on primer and tremclad paint? or get automotive paint for it. do it last very long?
after covering a few acres of prime real estate.

That's all that I did with my old 53' last winter. Just sanded it down, a little body filler on the bad spots and painted. I used tremclad "Old Caterpiller Yellow". If you do too good a job, you won't want to bounce off too many willows or trees. lol
