Title: what engine powers bombardiers ?

i would like to know what transmissions and engines are used in the bombardiers ?

In mine is a Chrysler 318  with 727 automatic transmission in a 1951 wide guage steel body

my machine is a 1948 with the original 251 c.u. chrysler 6 and a 3 speed trans.

narrow gAUGES WERE all 251 ind  stell wide gauge strated with251 ind the rear  door should be narrow like on a narrow machine then they went to 313ind now the back door is wide then in later years it was 318 ind with 3 speed  man trans then automatic trans

mine is a 74 wide guage it has a 318 industrial hooked to a 727 automatic/with power steering
