well the diff has been rebuilt, and put back in as well as the motor and tranny.Gary fabricated an exhaust and heat sheild..to keep direct heat away from the starter.New motor and tranny mounts were also made,as well asmetal covers for the sides of the diff, and a lift out slide plate for starter acess.
The disc brake is machined and fabricated into place...we are beefing up the drive shaft a little and will be putting it back in this week. The new bushings have been installed on the axcel's as well as new boogies and chains. The new sprockets are on.
New fuel pump starter water pump distributor, cap rotor wire, plugs, carbrator, fan belt ,alternator..and mounting bracket.
...new wiring will begin soon too..lol..I hope..will add more info as progress is made!!!

  ANOTHER FANTASTIC UPDATE FROM KPM.

  Here is his email.

hi claude
keep plugging away everyday...today had the whole crew working!!
..it's not hard to put mega hours in when doing a   rebuild on a bombardier...gotta luv it!!!
....some people question the cost of these machines(when done right)..it's easy to sink the money into them, then  factor in your time..lol..you better have a passion for i!!
Gary keeps it all in perspective, which makes the job go smooth...like i've said before he's the wizard...had dashes made up by D.PAULSON of WADENA STEEL...the man does an excellant job...course you can see that by looking at the awesome job he has done on his wide gauge rebuild....hoping to drive this narrow at the rally!!!
                                                                          take care my friend

Kyle, Take a look at the remote oil filter kits. Make things pretty tidy during the oil changes.

Well Kyle, it's plain to see what you've been spending your time at this winter. Now I understand why I haven't seen you out wheeling n' dealing on bombers this past few months. lol
You are going to have one fine machine when you are done. Sounds like you are going over it and sparing no shortcuts in her rebuild. Good work and also good job on getting Claude post your progress; otherwise he'd probably get himself into some sort of trouble.
Keep it up there Kyle.

KPM when you rebuilt your diff can you tell me what parts you needed & what place you got them ? I need what they call a nest kit. (spider gears) for mine. Also Glen's newbuild needs the same thing. My diff is smaller than Glen's.
 Here is minehttp://i333.photobucket.com/albums/m366/theoldtrucker/DSCF0373.jpg

Here is Glen's. http://i333.photobucket.com/albums/m366/theoldtrucker/PICT0850.jpg

.....grfishmaker bought a new factory diff from me for a narrow...i'm not sure he would want to sell...as he has 2 narrows of this own...and 2 wides for the record..
