According to my Local NAPA, fuel pump for 251 flat head are obsolete. I guess I'll just go with electric. Got my carb kit, one wire alternator, had to order the fuel pump, should have that Monday. Weather guys are saying in 7 days it looks like a warming trend, might get something done on the ol' girl :D

If you can\t get it from NAPA, try another Dodge part source and ask for a pump for a 1965 Dodge WM300. If you ask for 1940's pump they assume it is not available.

No wind? Boston had a 91 mph gust, we had them in the 70s here in Maine. Ended up with about 2 ft here but So. Maine had as much as 3 ft. :o

Look up General Discussions. click on    "New Parts Suppliers List". Look for Shaver & Sons. I heard they were thinking about selling them. All their contact info is there...

New Alpine Tire
« Reply #56 on: March 03, 2013, 03:39:40 pm »
Just installed the first one on a Narrow Gauge. Clearly a more vertical profile, this tire does not touch the inside edge of the track. Centres easily in the cleat cup.
There is 3/8"s to 1/2" clearance on both sides. All the other Dunlops appear to rubbing slightly.
Rated at 70 psi, Dunlops are rated at 35 psi and is usually where I run them.
I think a less jarring softer ride in loaded conditions, they do need regular air pressure checks.
I have the new rim, waiting on an excluder retrofit.

I think there is a place down south that sell them, but that's even further away for shipping. Plus the time you deal with customs & duty, it all adds up.

Been too cold to do anything outside on the R12, a neighbor of mine is a glass guy, the windshield is falling out and has been butchered to keep it in place. I got him to come over and he is getting the proper rubber gasket material, hopefully next weekend he'll be over to put it in. I told him to wait till its warmer, supposed to be 7 tonight so.... Glass breaks easy when its cold. Can't wait to get that fixed so I can take the tarp off. I have all the tune up parts including 12v one wire alt. and 12 v fuel pump. One weekend and I think I can get it running but its got be warm ;D
